The Maleny Community Centre provides a range of venues and facilities to support the arts and cultural activities. Located at 23 Maple Street it lies in the centre of town.

Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve comprises 55 hectares of subtropical rainforest overlooking the Glass House Mountains National Landscape. The Reserve is a living museum of diverse plant and animal life.

A unique sustainable community precinct providing recreational, sporting, cultural, educational and ecological experiences.

Maleny Show Grounds


Maleny Showgrounds is a popular recreation & outdoor event space, and is home to many user groups, clubs and organisations. The grounds are equipped for camping, large-scale events (including livestock exhibitions), intimate reunions, fairs/exhibitions, special occasions, and even a drive-in movie arena.

Maleny Swimming Pool offers a 6 lane 25 meter heated pool. It’s the perfect place for relaxing, increasing your fitness or just having fun with the family.

Old Witta School


Built in 1892 the Witta School closed in 1974. It is now a community centre lying in five acres of parkland at Witta seven kilometres from the town of Maleny.

Witta Resource Recovery Centre
